Karl  trained as a soloist under John Dethick in Sheffield and as an instrument engineer under Trevor Head and his associates.
He now uses the skills acquired as an Automation and Robotics Engineer for repairing instruments.

Karl is a member of NAMIR the National association of Instrument Repairers

Karl performs classical, Bass Baritone songs including Opera, Oratorio and Recital and has performed at many venues and has produced Cd’s of his work.
